Examination TextPeter During aged fforty Nine years (in the Workhouse) Saith that he never was Married that he was born in Durham Yard in the Strand at Devillet's a Taylor in Bishop's Court there that he is by Trade a perukemaker and was an bound an Apprentice by Indentures for Seven years to one John Gordon then Living in pall mall in the parish of St James Westminster whom he served Six years there and his Master then removed into Duke Street Lincoln's Inn ffields in the parish of St Giles in the fields and there Served the remainder of his time which expired about ffifteen years agoe and upwards that afterwards he was a yearly hired Servt to one Scipio Guy an Exchange Broker whom he Served about a twelve Months in Church Court at a house in Tents there had three pounds Pr Ann Wages diet and Lodging left the Same upwards of two years agoe and never kept house Rented ten pounds by the year or was a yearly hired Servant Since Sworn the Day of 1736 before}
