Att a Meeting of the Pishontr. to Call up the Polls Bookes for that Pte
of the Lectures pp [..] wch. was resigned by Mr Bell Itt
appeared that the number of Votes for Mr Peters are 595 & Mr.
Morris 568. Mr Peters was declared by the Church Warden to have
a Majority of 27 Votes
A Scurtiny was demanded for Mr Morris and
granted
Resolved that the Decleracon in the Church who hath the Majority
org [..] the Scrutiny be on Sunday fortnight & that in the 2 fair
Coppyes be made of the Poll Booke & one delivered to each
[..] Candidate on Saturday next & the first six days after
the Canditates be allowed to make En [..] yes [..] and
the Scrutiny to begin the [..] Monday following
And that each of the Candidates doe deliver to the Church Warden
8 Names to be their Scrutineers to be added to each Coppy of
of the poll Bookes to be figured by the Church Warden
Noe Votes to be allowd. good but such as pay to the poor
