St. Clement Danes Augst. 29th. 1759 .

Vestry met Pursuant to Notice given in the Church
on Sunday last to receive the report from the Committee
appointed to inspect into the necessary Repairs of two
Old houses in Eagle Street for the reception of the poor

Bartholomew Hammond< no role > Esqr . Reported from the
Committee to whom the said Consideration was referred
that they had met pursuant to their Directions and
had inspected and caused the said houses to be Survey'd
and an Estimate to be made of the said necessary repairs
the Amount of which is £400 or there abouts
besides furnishing.

And your Committee (though without having any
particular directions from you for that Purpose)
caused an Estimate to be made of a plain New
Brick Building with a Plan and Elevation thereof
the Expence of which together with the Old Materials
of the said two houses amounts to £900 or there
abouts besides furnishing this is all Your
Committee have as yet done which they desired
one to report to you And I have taken the
first Opportunity to lay them before you for
Your Consideration
