Resolved and Agreed that in case any Action or
Actions be brought against the Justices of the Peace
for Signing Warrants of Distress agt. such of the
Inhabitants as refuse to pay the Scavengers Rate
or the Scavengers and Constables Executing the same
that such Action or Actions shall be Defended by
the Church wardens & the costs allowed in their Accts
