Read & Audited the Churchwardens Account
of Burials for the Month of August last amounting
to the Sum of £5:6:11

Also the Overseers Accounts for the same
Month amounting to the Sum of £414:3:10

Mr Essex reported to the Vestry that a woman
of the Name of Simpson was imposed upon the parish
improperly she belonging to Chester that a Mr. Maddox
of Chester her Uncle had received £500 of her property
that she had never had one Shilling

Ordered that she be passed to
Chester if they do not Reimburse the parish

Mr Essex also complained of Whitehead of Hemlock
Court whose son is maintained at Hoxton by the
parish, that the Father (tho' of ability) refused to
