Sub Committee met Concerning the Sufferers by Fire
pursuant to Notice.

Sevl. Applicatrs. having been made to allow William Arrundell< no role >
something towards his loss by the late Fire his Claim having
been rejected on Account of his making evasive Answers but it
having been found out that he is not clear in his Sences A Motion
was thereupon made by Mr. Rainforth and seconded by Mr-
Cuningham and the Question Put whr. said Arrundell shod. be allow'd
3 Guineas towards his loss on the Chairmans reporting to Mr.
Holmes (who had interceeded for him) the reason why his the
said Arrundells Claim was rejected & that on such reports being
made shod. the Chairman find that he had really sustained a
loss by such Fire he shod. be allowed 3Gs. or not the same
was Carried in the AffirmativeNem Con
