The Committee appointed the 3rd.
day of October last To examine into
the Alterations that had taken in the
Watch Rate Book

made the following Report

Committee Room October 9th. 1799

The Committee appointed by the
Vestry on the 3rd day of October 1799 to
examine into the Alteration of the late
Watch Rate Book-do find-that the
Book was Regularly collected and
accounted for to the Parish and that
in no Instance anything unfair
has appeared-but that it does not
appear to the Committee by what
authority the alteration have been
made altho they appear to have been
rated agreeable to the Poors Rate

It was moved by Mr. Essex
and Seconded by Mr Collier that the
thanks of this Meeting be given to
Mr. Barker for his attention in
Collecting the Book of last year

Carried in the affirmative
Ordered that the Watch Rate
