several Conferences with the Committee of the City
of London
& on Saturday last the 9th- day of May
agreed to the following Clauses to be inserted in
the Bill now Pending & which is to go into a
Committee of the House of Commons
on Tuesday
next to Support which Clauses they have
Retained Mr. Mingay on the part of the Parish
Your Committee first beg leave to state
for the Information of the Parties more immedly.
interested that every Clause for their Security &
Remuneration stands as in the former Act-and
which Experience has found to be fully sufficient
for the Protection of all those Person who have
been compelled to leave their respective situations
They also Report that the same Clauses
Respecting the Church yard-Graves-Grand Stones
&c &c as would have been in force had the Church
been taken down are to remain in the new Act
for the Purpose of protecting those Parts of the
Church Yard
as may be wanted for Completing
the Plan of the City of London
They have also the Satisfaction of adding
that they have succeeded in establishing a Clause
to be inserted that no Inhabitant of the South
side of the Strand
shall have Notice to Quit his
