Mr Terry reported that two persons in the House Sophia

and Joseph Mockford< no role >
with bad Legs had consented to have them
taken off and Mr. Crowther had appointed Friday next for that
Purpose
They were both called in and declared their minds
were made up to have them taken off and wished the Operation
to be performed by Mr. Crowther in the House rather than go to
an Hospital
Mr. Crowther was sent for and attended - sayed
he thought the Boys Leg might be saved and should not think
himself justified in cutting it off - that the Girls Leg he proposed
taking off on Friday next
