The following Proposals for Serving the Workhouse
with Butchers Meat were received and read.

For Meat-

Mr. Luff proposed to Serve the Workhouse with Butcher
Meat for Eight Months upon the following Terms Vizt.


Clods Stickens Mouse Buttocks
whole Leg of Mutton pieces &
Thick & Thin flanks of Beef
at Three Shillings per
Stone.


Breasts & Legs of Mutton the
Masters Table and Suet on
Saturdays
at ThreeFour Shillingsand
Six pence per Stone

The Beef to be good Ox Beef.

The Mutton to be good Wether Mutton the Legs
of Mutton not weighing less than 9lb.. each and the
Breasts in Proportion.

Mrs. Addison proposed serving the House for
Eight Months on the following Terms Vizt.

Beef at3s/6d. P Stone.


Mutton, the Masters Table & Suet
on Saturdays at
4s/4d. P Stone

Mr. Luffs proposal being the lowest it was Accepted
and the Vestry Clerk Ordered to prepare the usual contract [..]

For Butter and Cheese.

Mr. Elsworth proposed serving the Workhouse with Butter and
Cheese for Eight Months as follows Vizt.

Good Salt Butter after it is Scraped and Wired to be weighed at
38s. P firkin or 56lb.

Good Gloucester Cheese at 48s. P Cwt or 112lb.

It being the only proposal it was Accepted and the usual [..]
Contract be prepared.

Ordered that the Vestry Clerk do repaire of Mr. Ideson
whom they Contract with for Potatoes and what they Pay [..]
