This being a Meeting to receive proposals
for serving the Poor in the Workhouse
with Meat, Butter
and Cheese from 6th Augst 1793 to 16th August 1794
The following proposals were received & read
For Meat
Messrs Luff &
Stackhouses
proposal
Messrs Luff & Stackhouse proposed to serve the
Workhouse
with Butchers Meat as follows Vizt.
Cloads, Stickens, Mouse Buttocks,
& whole leg of Mutton pieces
twice a Week}
cut fair & without Bone at
two shilling per Stone}
Thick & then flanks of Beef once a Week at 2 per stone
Breasts of Mutton daily at two shillings per stone
Legs of Mutton once a Month including Meat
for the Master's Table & Suet on Saturdays
at 3 Per Stone
The Beef to be good Ox Beef
The Mutton good Wether Mutton the Legs net weight
less than. 9 lb each & the Breasts in proportion
