At a Meeting of the Committee
Elected and appointed pursuant to
the Act of Parliament for better Paving
Etc this Parish Etc held in the Vestry
Room the 18th day of December 1795 .

Present{ Mr. Burnthwaitein the Chair
Mr. RustMr. Cox
Mr. WingroveMr. Rosier

The Minute of the last meeting read & confirmed
Read the returns of the Inspectors of Paving & Lamps

Several Persons being Summoned for Non payment
of the Rates were heard and several of them paid

Ordered that Lamp be put up in Clements
Court or Free school Passage and that Mr. Wingrove
Mr. Rosier and Mr. Rust give the necessary
Orders relative there to, as also about the removel
of a Lamp near the Pump Clements Lane.
Robert Edmonds< no role > & Philip Batteson< no role > Engine keepers
of this Parish attending relative to their running
their Engine on Mr. Foot Paving and admitting
they did so yesterday from Surrey Street to the
Oxford Coffee House , they were reprimanded for
so doing and informed of its being contracy to the
Act of Parliament.

Ordered that the Scavenger have notice of many
Complaints of his neglect of Date and that he be
Summoned for the next Board night.
