a little Repair wanted in Clements Lane near Yeates' Court
and that a Post is wanting to be reset at the corner of great
Shire Lane Carey Street Ordered that the same be forthwith
done
Great Complaints being made of the Lamps not burns
pursuant to Contract Ordered that the Contractor have
notice
Adjourned to the 4th. August

Office July 25th:
Minutes of the Committee for the Parish of Saint Clement Danes
dated the 7th. Instant and delivered in this day were read
setting forth that Mr. Nixon the Inspector had returned that a
Passage leading from White Horse Yard to Clare Court which had
been Paved by that Committee had lately been stopped up by two Wa [..]
being Elected and Ordering that the same be referred to the Commiss [..]
Ordered that this matter be referred to the Surveyor to
inquire whether the above is a Public Passage and how long
the same has been so
Augst. 1. 1775
The Surveyor Reported that he had pursuant to the Order of
the last Meeting viewed the Passage
leading from White Horse
Yard to Clare Court
and finds (from Information) that the said
Passage has been upwards of Fifty Years but the Wall is taken
down and the Passage
Passable as before
