Christmas last for one Quarter of a Year then next And at the
same time signed a Duplicate thereof and appointed Mr. John
George to Collect the same

The Clerk having laid before this Committee the request of the
Commissioners for Paving Westminster Etc of the 22d February last desiring
Abstracts or Extracts containing the true Account of all monies by this
Committee Rated and Assessed and at how much in the Pound and the
amount of so much of all and every such Rates as shall appear to be
Collected and received and in Arrear and unreceived and of all monies
borrowed on the Securities of the Additional Rates from Lady day
1773 to Lady day 1774 Ordered that Return be made to the said
Commissioners that the Rate for Repairing Cleansing and Lighting
the several Streets Etc (except these Paved under the Optional Clause)
amounts to £1512..3s..0d and that the Additional Rates of six Pence
per Pound on the New Paved Streets amounts to £573..5s..9d That the
Rate of Six Pence per Square Yard from Churches Church Yards Etc
amounts to £28..0s..6d, that about £700 hath been Collected in part of
such Rates and that the Sum of £4800 hath been borrowed on the
Security of the said Additional Rates

Ordered that Mr. Baker return to this Committee at their next
meeting the prices he intends doing this Committees work at in
future

George Nixon< no role > Inspector to this Committee being Sworn returns
that a Repair is wanting in the Pavement near Mr. Gillyat's door
in Cary Sheet-that a little Repair is wanting in Clements Lane
Devereux Court and Essex Street and that a Lamp is wanting in
Browns Buildings-Ordered that the said several Works be done

The Inhabitants of Exeter Court complaining of the Water
coming into their Kitchens through the Pavement and Mrs Grimes
of Hollis Street of the like and Mr. Harrison of Change Court that it is
necessary to remove the Lamp to his corner where it Originally
was fixed-Ordered that the said several Works be done
