(to wit) Mary Liddell< no role > Aged twenty
Eight Years [..] or thereabouts Upon
her Oath saith That she never was Married
That she lived as an hired yearly Servant with
Mrs. Harcourt at No. 9. in Beaufort Buildings
Strand in the said parish of St. Clement Danes
about tnear two years at the Yearly Wages of
Ten Pounds that she quitted her said Service about
three years ago and since hath not acquired or
become intitled unto any other legal settlement And
this Deponent further saith that on the 25thday
of November 1789 she was delivered of a Male
Bastard Child at the Store Street Hospital in
the said County of Middlesex who hath since
been Christened [..] by the Name of William< no role >
That onePoppelton who is a Clerk
inthean office or Department belonging to three Per Cent
Consols in the Bank of England [..] & lately Resided
in Primrose Street [..] near Spitalfields & as
this Deponent beis the only real and true father
of such Child of which she was so delivered as
aforesaid he and nooneother person having had
Carnal Knowledge of this Deponents Body at
several times and begotten the same Child thereon
And that she this Deponent (being confined
in Circumstance is incapacitated from providing
for such Child
