to wit Mary Hill< no role > aged about 18 years
upon her Oath saith that she never was
married That she lived as a hired yearly
Servant with Mr. Desmond in the Strand
in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the County
of Middlesex for Eighteen Months or thereabouts at
the yearly wages of Six Guineas that she hath
quitted said service about Fifteen Months since
which time she hath not lived as a hired yearly Servant
for Twelve Months or done any Act Matter or thing
whereby she might have gained a subsequent Settlement
And further this Deponent upon her Voluntary Oath
saith that she is pregnant with Child or Children
which is or are likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards
and to become Chargeable to the said Parish That one
Thomas Hayes< no role > who as this Deponent hath been informed
lives in Westminster but what particular part she doth
not know is the father thereof he having had carnal
knowledge of this Examinants Body and begotten the
said Child or Children of which she is so Pregnant and
that the said Thomas Hayes< no role > is the only Real and true
father thereof
