to wit Charlotte Hart< no role > aged about 30 years
upon her Oath saith that she never was
married that she lived as a hired yearly
Servant with Mr. Nicholson in Milford Lane in the
Parish of Saint Clement Danes for Two years or
thereabouts at the yearly wages of Six Pounds that she
hath quitted said Service about Two years since
which time she hath not lived as a hired yearly
Servant for Twelve Months or done any Act Matter
or thing whereby she might have gained a
subsequent Settlement And further this Deponents
upon her Voluntary Oath saith that she is pregnant
with Child or Children which is or are likely to
be born a Bastard or Bastards and to become
Chargeable to the said Parish That one Thomas
Taylor
< no role > a Journeyman Blacksmith who did
work with Mr. Brodie in Milford Lane and lodged in
Huggins Lane is the father thereof he having had
carnal knowledge of this Examinants Body and
begotten the said Child or Children of which she is
so pregnant and that the said Thomas Taylor< no role >
is the only Real & true father thereof
