to wit Elizabeth Gibbs< no role > aged about 22
years upon her Oath saith That she never
was married That she lived as a hired
yearly Servant with Mr. Bird in Thanet Place
in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the
County of Middlesex for Sixteen Months at the
yearly wages of Seven Pounds that she hath
quitted said Service about Nineteen Months
since which time she hath not done any Act
Matter or Thing whereby she might have
gained a subsequent Settlement And this
Deponent further upon her Voluntary Oath
saith that she is pregnant with Child or
Children which is or are likely to be born a
Bastard or Bastards and to become Chargeable
to the said Parish That one Hugh Mole< no role > who
is Cornet in the 21st. Regiment of Light Dragons
which is now in the West Indies is the father
thereof he having had carnal knowledge of this
Examinants Body and begotten the said [..]
Child or Children of which she is now pregnant
and that the said Hugh Mole< no role > did beget the
same thereon and that he is the only Real and
true father thereof
