to Wit Sarah Giles< no role > aged about 26 years
Upon Her Oath Saith that she never was
Married, That she lived as a Hired Yearly
Servant with the Revd: Dr Thomas Powell< no role > at
High gate in the Parish of Hornsey in the
County of Middlesex , three years at the
Yearly Wages of Nine Guineas, that she
hath Quitted said Service about three years
Back, since which time she hath done no
Act or Deed to gain a subsequent Settlement
And further this Examinant upon Her
Oath saith that on the 16th. day of August now
last Past she was Delivered of a Male Bastard
Child at No. 1. Chair Court, Ship yard in
the Parish of St. Clement Danes . That one
Joseph Draper< no role > a Shoe Maker who lived at
No. 45 or 46 Chandes Street, but where he lives
now this Deponent does not know, is the Father
thereof he having had Carnal Knowledge of
this Examinants Body and Begotten the Same
thereon and that the said Joseph Draper< no role > and
no other Person did Beget the Same and that he
is the only Real & True Father thereof
