to wit Sarah Archer< no role > aged about 27 years
upon her Oath saith That she never was
married That she lived as a hired yearly
Servant with Mr. Smith in Norfolk Street in the
Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the County
of Middlesex for about Eighteen Months at
the yearly wages of Eight Pounds that she hath
quitted said Service about Eight Months since
which time she hath done no Act to gain a
subsequent settlement And further this
Examinant upon her [..] Oath saith That
[..] on the 15th: day of January now last past she
was delivered of a Female Bastard Child at
No. 3 in Old Boswell Court That one William
Carter
< no role > a Journeyman Taylor who uses the Blue
Anchor in Fenchurch Street but where he lives
she this Deponent doth not know is the father thereof he having had
carnal knowledge of this Examinants Body
and begotten the same thereon and that the
said William Carter< no role > and no other Person
did beget the same and that he is the only
real and true father thereof
