upon her Oath saith that she never was
married Rented House Tenement or Lodging of
Ten Pounds a year That she lived as a hired
yearly servant with one Mr. Greening in Milman
Row Chelsea for Three years at the yearly wages
of Seven Pounds that since she quitted said
Service she has done no Act to gain a
subsequent settlement And further this
Examinant upon her Oath saith that on the
Sixth day of June now last past she was
delivered of a female Bastard Child at the
house of a Mrs. Russell No. 12 Clements Lane
which hath since been Christened by the Name
of Mary Ann< no role > That one Richard Sherman< no role > a
Clerk in the Treasury and who lives in Queen
Street Chelsea is the father thereof he having
had carnal knowledge of this Examinants
Body and begotten the same thereon and
that the said Richard Sherman< no role > and no
other Person did beget the same and that he
is the only real and true father thereof
