Sarah Hill< no role > singlewoman aged 23 & upwds
Upon Oath saith that she never was
married, that her Father Rented and resided
in a House called and known by the Name of
the Globe Public House Hungerford Market ,
in the parish of Saint Martins in the fields for
upwards of 5 Years, About 7 Years Ago, but at what
Rent this deponent cannot correctly say, but
verily believes about 30 pounds a Year, that
this Examinant hath not since done any Act
Matter or Thing whatsoever whereby to the [..] best
of her knowledge Recollection or belief she might
obtain any subsequent legal settlement, And
this Examinant Upon her Oath further saith
that on or about the 24th day of Novr. last at the
House of Mr Barker No 4 Clare Court in the
parish of Saint Clement Danes in the LIberty
of Westminster in the County of Middlesex she
was delivered of a Male Bastard Child which is
not yet Christened but is become chargeable to
the said parish, that Thomas Wigg< no role > of Howards
Coffee house Dukes place is the only Real & true
Father of the said Child of which she was
delivered as aforesaid he and no one else havg
had carnal knowledge of this deponents body
that on or about the Middle of February last 1793
at which time the said Thomas Wigg< no role > begot the
said Child thereon on this deponents body
