Durham
< no role > aged 23 years & upwards Upon Oath
saith that in or about the Month of May 1788 she was never Married to James Durham< no role >
at the Roman Catholic Chapel Moorfields [..]
according to the Rights and Ceremonies of the Church
of England Rome she this Examinant then now being
of the Protestant Faith and the said Husband of James Durham< no role > then
being of the Roman Catholic persuasion that she has never
been otherwise Married, that she being single and
unmarried she lived as an hired yearly Servant with
Mr Long at the White Bear in Basinghall Street
in the parish of St Michael Basinghall otherwise
Bassishaw London for thirteen Months or upwards
at the annual Wages of Eight Guineas a year
[..] that she quitted that Service about [..] five years & five
Months ago and hath not since done any Act
Matter or thing whatsoever whereby to obtain any
subsequent legal Settlement And this Examinant
further saith that on or about the Nineteenth day of
May 1793 at the House of Mrs Carver at No 14 Change
Court in the parish of St Clement Danes in the
County of Middlesex she was delivered of a Male
Bastard Child Named James Durham< no role > that the
said James Durham< no role > [..] the elder-unto [..] whom she [..] was so Married as aforesaid is the real true father
of the said Child of which she was so delivered
as aforesaid he and no [..] other person having
