(to wit) Sophia Augusta Hunt< no role > aged 22 years or
thereabouts Singlewoman Upon Oath saith that
she never was Married that she never served
any Apprenticeship lived as an hired yearly
Servant for a year together Rented any House or
Apartment of ten pounds a year or did any other
Act Matter or thing whatsoever whereby to obtain
any subsequent legal Settlement to the best of her
knowledge information or belief that she is the
Daughter of Samuel Hunt< no role > by a person with
when he lived and Cohabited who was called by
the Name of Ann Hunt< no role > who was ever reputed to be his Wife and who this Deponent
always conceived to be and still believes was really his
Wife that her said Father Samuel Hunt< no role > now
Rents and Resides and for in a House in Great
Shire Lane in the parish of St Clement Danes in
the Liberty of a Westminster in the County of
Middlesex of his own the Freehold of which he
purchased about upwards of fifteen years ago
and has resided therein during that space of time
that she was born at No. 10 in Hemlock Court in
the said parish of St Clement Danes And this
Examinant Upon her Oath further saith that
she was delivered of a Male Bastard Child at
the Workhouse of and belonging to the said parish
of Saint Clement Danes and situate within the
same on or about the 21st. day of July last & that the
said Child hath been and is chargeable to the said
