Reputed Father

(to wit) Elizabeth Rainer< no role > singlewoman aged 27
years or thereabouts Upon Oath saith that she
never was Married that she [..] was hired
as a yearly Servant fourteen Months ago [..] to
Mr Toulmin Essex Street in the Strand in the
parish of St Clement Danes in the County of Middx
at the yearly Wages of 9 Guineas, that she has [..]
[..] ever since such hiring lived [..] with the said Mr
Toulmin as such hired Servant in Essex Street aforesaid and
is not discharged from his said Service [..] And
this Deponent upon her Voluntary Oath further saith
that she is now pregnant with a Child or Children
which is or are likely to be born or Bastard or
Bastards and to become chargeable to the said
parish of St Clement Danes and this Deponent
[..] saith that John Barnes< no role > Hair Dresser who is
now Foreman to the Widow Whitehouse of Church
Street Birmingham [..] is the only real true father
of the said Child or Children wherewith she is
pregnant as aforesaid he & no one else having [..]
had carnal knowledge of this Deponents Body
sometime in or about the Month of March last &
at [..] other times since at some or one of which time
he did beget the said Child or Children wherewith
she is pregnant as aforesaid on the body of this
Deponent and that he and no one else is the
only real & true father thereof
