Pregnancy

Father

(to wit) Sarah Earnshaw< no role > Singlewoman
aged 25 years and upwards Upon Oath
saith That she lived as an hired yearly Servant
with Mr Campbell Taylor Surry Street in the parish of St Clement Danes for
about One year and ten Months at the Annual
Wages of Seven Guineas that she quitted that
service about May 1790 and hath not since
lived as an hired yearly Servant for twelve months
together rented any House or Lodging of £10 a
year paid any parish Taxes or otherwise ab
obtained any subsequent legal Settlement in
[..] to her knowledge or belief and never hath been
Married and this Deponent Upon her Voluntary
Oath further saith that she is now pregnant
with a Child or Children which is or are likely
to be born a Bastard or Bastards & to become
chargeable to the said parish of Saint Clement
Danes in the said County City and Liberty and
that Thomas Waymark< no role > a Joun Journey man
Carpenter who lately Worked with Mr Jackson
of Kingsland Road is the only real true father
of such Child or Children where with she is now
pregnant he & no one else having had carnal
knowledge of this Deponents Body sometime
in or about the Month of January last a [..]
