to wit Elizabeth Kitts< no role > aged about 44
years upon her Oath saith that she never
was married That in or about the year 1768 she
was bound an Apprentice to one Philip Wathell< no role >
who kept the Sign of the Green Man at Plumpstead
in the Parish of Plumpstead in the County of Kent
by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Woolwich for Seven years that she served
her said Master under such Indenture about Two
years when the Magistrates discharged this Depont.
on account of her said Master ill treating her and
that after she quitted her said Master she never
lived as a hired yearly Servant for Twelve Months at
any one time Rented any house Tenement or
Lodging of Ten Pounds a year paid Taxes or done
any Act Matter or thing whereby she might have
gained a subsequent settlement
