to wit Rachael Edwards< no role > aged about
59 years upon her Oath saith That on or
about the 27th. Septr. 1763 she Intermarried
with Thomas Edwards< no role > her late Husband who
has been dead about Fourteen years at the
Parish Church of Saint Martin Ludgate That
her said Husband Rented and lived in a house
known by the Sign of the George in Holles Street
in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes for
Three years and upwards at the yearly Rent
of Ten Pounds and upwards and paid Taxes
That he quitted said House about 28 years
ago after which time he never Rented any
House Tenement or Lodging of Ten Pounds a
year paid Taxes or done any Act Matter
or thing whereby he might have gained a
subsequent Settlement nor hath this
Examinant since her said Husbands
Death

Sworn this 27th.
