(to wit) Margaret Capper< no role > aged 65 years and
upwards Upon Oath saith that She was Married
to Robert Capper< no role > her late Husband at the Parish
Church of St Margaret Westminster about thirty years
ago that he died about ten years ago the leaving a
Son Named Thomas Capper< no role > in then of the Age of about Twenty three years &
who had previously acquired a legal Settlement in his own
right by serving his Apprenticeship with his Father
[..] in the Parish of St Clement Danes that subsequent
to her said Husband's Death and being a Widow
unmarried and having no other Child than the said
Thomas Capper< no role > his then living, she lived as an hired
yearly Servant with Mr. Pryce Linen Draper in
Blackmoor Street in the said Parish of St Clement [..]
Danes for a year and Nine Months or thereabouts
at the Annual Wages of £8 that she quitted the
same in or about the Month of 179 May 1793 and hath
not since acquired any other legal Settlement to the
best of her knowledge or belief
