thereabouts (on behalf of her illegitimate Child
named Sarah Prosser< no role > aged [..] five Years & upwards)
Upon her voluntary Oath saith that she this Examint.
was Married to Watkin Richards< no role > at the parish
Church of Saint Philip in the City of Bristol about
seventeen or eighteen years ago that about eighteen
Months after&he went as a Soldier to America that
she hath not heard of him forfourabout fourteen [..] years past and
usknows not what is become of him Saith that she
this Examinant was delivered of the said Child
named Sarah Prosser< no role > at the House of Mrs Mc Nichol
in Holborn Lane in theparishChapelry of St Mary in the Town of Chatham in the
County of Kent thaton or about the 31st day of
March 1788 that one James [..] Prosser< no role > by trade a
Shoemaker is theonly real truefather of the said
Child named SarahNichol and that he hath deceased
Prosserandand that she this Examinant hath never been Married
Got to the said Watkin Richards as aforesaid
