and upwards Upon Oath saith that She
was Married to John Clark< no role > her present Husband
at the parish Church of St Mary at Carlisle in
the County of Cumberland in or about the year
1788to John Clark< no role > her present Husbandthat
the said John Clark< no role > served his Apprenticeship
under Indentures of Apprenticeship with Mr John
Wilkinson
< no role > a Shoemaker in Scotch Street in the
parish of St Mary in Carlisle aforesaid and since
the Expiration of his Apprenticeship he hath
never done any Act Matter or thing whatsoever
whereby to obtain any subsequent legal Settlemt.
to the best of this Examinant's knowledge
information or belief that she hath one Child
by her said Husband now [..] with her namely
William< no role > born on or about the eighteenth day
of January 1792 and that her said Husband is
now from her on a Recruiting party and she is
distressed pregnant and unable to provide herself
without assistance
