(to wit) Joseph Baker< no role > aged 37
Years & upwards Upon Oath
saith Thatshehe served an Apprenticeship of Seven
Years with Mr. John Bullock< no role > in Archer Street
in the parish of St. James Westminster within
the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex
(under Indenture) and Lodged in his said Master
House, [..] that his said Apprenticeship expired about
Eighteen Years ago. And since he hath not lived
as an hired yearly [..] Servt. Rented any House
or Apartment of £10 a Year paid any parochial
Rates [..] served any parish Office or done any
Act Matter or thing whatsoever whereby to
obtain any subsequent legal Settlement And
this Deponent saith he intermarried with his
present Wife Margaret< no role > at the parish Church of
St James Westminster aforesaid about Nineteen
Years ago (by Banns) that he hath two Children
by his said Wife both now living Namely William< no role >
[..] Aged Seventeen Years and upwards and
Joseph< no role > Aged aged SixteenyearsYears & upwards
whobothare both from this Deponent and [..]
provide for themselves And that he is unable
to Maintain himself & Wife without Assistance
