to wit Eliz: Meadows< no role > Aged about Twenty five Years on
her Oath Says she never was married Rented House or paid
Taxes Says she lived a hired Yearly Servant with one Mr.
Wermell at the Sign of the Sun near Clements Inn Gate in the
Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westminster for
Three Years at the Yearly Wages of Three Pounds hath quitted
her said Service upwards of Six Years ago and hath not since
she quitted the same ever Rented House paid Taxes or lived an
hired Yearly Servant for one Year And further Says that on
the 23d. day of December 1768 she was delivered of a Female
Bastard Child in the House of Andrew Thomas< no role > in Drury
Lane in the Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields in the
Liberty of Westmr. which hath since been Baptized by the
name of Ann Meadows< no role > Says that one Michael Charles< no role > a Dealer
in Coals in Little Drury Lane is the Father of the said Female
Bastard Child he having had Carnal knowledge of her Body
in the House of him the said Michael Charles< no role > sometime in
the Month of March 1768 but the particular Day she does not
now remember and at sevl. Different times after at one or
which times he got her with Child of the Female Bastard Child
of which she was so delivered and that the said Michael Charles< no role >
and no other person as the real and true father thereof
