Jane Slingsby< no role > aged about 31 Years upon her
Voluntary Oath says she never was Married that on the 22d, day of September
1765 she was delivered of a Male Bastard Child in
the house of Mr. Darby in Grange Court in the
Parish of St. Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westmr.
which hath since been baptized Thomas < no role > ; says that
Thomas Essex< no role > Coachman to the Earl of Macclesfield
in Harley Street Cavendish Square had carnal
knowledge of her body the beginning of January
1765, & at sevl. other times afterwards at one of
which times he got her with Child of the Male
Bastard Child of which she was delivered as
aforesaid and that the said Thomas Essex and no
other person is the true and real Father thereof
