Mary Betts< no role > aged about 23 Years Lodging in
Searle Street in the Parish of St. Clement Danes
in the Liberty of Westminster and County of Middx
upon Oath saith she never was Married And
further upon her Voluntary Oath says she is pregnant
with Child or Children which is likely to be Born
a Bastard or Bastards and to become Chargeable
to the said Parish of St. Clement Danes she being
Poor and unable to provide for the same when
Born And that John Fletchyer< no role > , Gentleman
who now lodges at Mr. Hall in Brownlow Street
Holborn did beget such Child or Children he
having had Carnal Knowledge of her Body in the
Month of January One thousand seven hundred
and Sixty one and at several times since at which
or one of which times he got her with Child of the
Child or Children with which she is now pregnant
And that the said John Fletchyer< no role > is the true and
only Father thereof
