Lodging at the Barley More in Milford Lane in the
Parish of St. Clement Danes in the County of
Middx upon Oath saith she never was Married
That she lived a hired Yearly Servant with
Mr. William Lewis< no role > This name instance is in set 2080. who keeps the Black Bull
Alehouse in Milford Lane in the Parish aforesaid
for the Space of Three Years at the Yearly Wages
of Five pounds Quitted the same last Christmas
and hath not since rented Ten pounds a year or
paid Parish Taxes And further upon her
voluntary Oath says she is now pregnant with Child
or Children which is likely to be Born a Bastard or
Bastards and to become Chargeable to the said Parish
of St. Clement Danes she being poor and unable to
provide for the Same when born And that the above
named William Lewis< no role > did beget such Child or Children
he having had Carnal Knowledge of her Body in the Month
of July One thousand seven hundred and sixty and at several times since at which
or one of which times he got her with Child of the Child
or Children with which she is now pregnant
