Jno. Metcalfe< no role > aged abt. 31 Years removed from the
Parish of St. Brides London by Order Dated the 7th.
Day of Decr. Instt. upon his Oath saith that on the
26th. Day of May [..] 1741 he intermarried with his
present Wife Elizabeth< no role > at the Fleet London that
abt. 4 Yrs. since he lived a Yearly hired Servt. with
Mr. Robt. Cooper< no role > at the Corner of Vear Strt. in the
Parish of St. Clemt. Danes at the Yearly Wages of
£5. for the Space of One Yr. & 10 Months that since
he left his sd. Service he hath not rented £10. a Yr.
paid Parish Taxes lived with any Pson as a
Yearly hired Servt. for one Yr. or otherwise gained
a Settlemt. in any other Place to his knowledge
or beleif that he hath one Child viz. Eliz:< no role > aged
one Year & 10 Months & being Poor is not able to
maintain himself & family
