Mary Tye< no role > upon her Voluntary Oath saith that
she is a Singlewoman & was never married & that
she is now a Yearly hired Servant to Mr. Harper
a Butterman in Clare markett in the Parish of
St. Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westmr . & County
of Middlesex & hath so been for the Space of Two
Years & upwards at the Yearly Wages of Five
Pounds that she is pregnant with Child or
Children which when born will be a Bastard or
Bastards & likely to become Chargeable to the
said Parish of St Clement Danes she being Poor
& not able to maintain the same when born &
that Joseph Walker< no role > now of St. Giles in the Feilds
in the Sd. County of Middx Butcher did begett the
Sd. Child or Childn. on her Body this Examint. on
the 11th. of Octr. last being with the Sd. Joseph Walker< no role >
at a Shop he then had in Clare markett where the
Sd. Joseph Walker< no role > had Carnall Knowledge of her
Body at which Time he gott her with the Sd. Bastard
Child or Childn. with which she is now pregnant & yr.
he & no other Person is the true & real Father thereof
