Ann Bretton< no role > aged near 70 Yrs. upon Oath saith she is
the wido. of Saml. Bretton< no role > with whom she intermarried at
Mayfair Chapel the 3d. Day of August 1747 that her sd.
late husband rented the Crooked Billet Alehouse next Door
to Henleys Oratory near Lincolns Inn fields in the parish
of St. Giles in the Fields in the County of middlesex [..] at the
yearly Rent of £20 for servant Year & there dyed upwds.
of 5 Years age & this Examinant has not since his
decease rented ten Pounds a Year Pd. Parish taxes or
lived Yearly Servant for one year
