Eliz: Clark< no role > upon Oath Saith she was married to
her husband Richard Clark< no role > on or about the 9th. Augt.
1743 at the fleet London and that her sd.
husband lived a Yearly Servant with Benjn Paulin< no role > Esqr . of
Marsh Gate near Richmond in Surry for one Year & upwds.
at the Yearly Wages of Eight pounds and quitted his sd. Service
in the Month of April 1743 that her sd. husband came to
Town with his sd Master on or about the 1st. Febry preceding the
time of his Discharge & lay from that time till the
22d. or 23d. of March at the Craven head in Drury Lane
in the parish of St Clement Danes where his masters horses
Stood & then her sd. husband being taken ill with the
Small Poor, was removed to ye Nurses & discharged his
masters Service in the following Month as aforesd.
that her sd. husband never rented ten Pounds
a Year or pd. Parish Taxes and that he now absconds
from her & has left her with 4 Childn.. Ann< no role > aged upwds. of
nine Years Eliz< no role > aged near 7 Yrs. Rd< no role > . aged near 3 Yrs &
Joseph< no role > aged near one Year Which she is unable to
maintain
