Charlott Wood< no role > Aged about Twenty One Years on her
Oath Says she never was married Rented House or paid Taxes
Says she lived a hired Yearly Servant to one Mrs. Garratt als
Adlamin Bennetts Court in the Parish of St. Clement Danes
in the Liberty of Westmr . for 18 Months at the Yearly Wages
of Six Pounds hath quitted her said Service upwards of 12
Month ago since which time she never lived a hired Yearly
Servant for one Year or gained any other Settlement than as
before deposed and further on her Voluntary Oath Says she is
Pregnant with Child or Children which is or are likely to be
born a Bastard or Bastards and to become chargable to the
said Parish and further Says that one James Dean< no role > who
drives a Team for a Farmer in Bedfordshire and when in
Town lodges at the Red Horse in Change Court Strand is the
Father thereof he having had Carnal knowledge of her Body
at her Lodgings in White Hart Yard Drury Lane upwards
of Ten Months ago & at sevl. different times afterwards
at One of which times he get her with Child of the Child or
Children of which she is now pregnant and that the said
James Dean< no role > and us other person did beget the same and that
he is the real & true Father thereof
