to wit Elizabeth Warner< no role > This name instance is in set 4389. Aged about Twenty Six Years on
her Oath Says she never was married Rented House or paid
Taxes says she lived a hired Yearly Servant with Mr. Hargrave
an Attorney at Law in Boswell Court in the Parish of Saint
Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westmr & County aforesaid
upwards of Eighteen Months at the Yearly Wages of Ten
Guineas hath quitted her said service about Two Years ago
since which time she hath gained no other Settlement And
further upon her Voluntary Oath Says that on the 23d day of
June 1781 she was delivered of a Female Bastard Child in
her said Masters House which hath since be baptized by the
Name of Ann< no role > and is now become Chargble to the said Parish
And further Says that one John Vance< no role > late a Servant to
Sullivan Esqr. in Argyle Street and who now lives with Mr.
Bridgman at Cambridge as she believes is the Father thereof he having
had Carnal Knowledge of her Body in her said Masters House
sometime in the Month of Sepr. or Octr. in the Year 1780 and
at sevl. different times afterwards at one of which times he
got her with Child of the Female Bastard Child of which
she was so delivered as aforesaid And that the said John
Vance and no other Person did beget the same and that he
is the real and true Father thereof
