to Wit Elizth. Catlin< no role > Aged about Thirty years on her Oath says she
never was married Rented House paid Taxes or ever lived as a hired
Yearly Servant for one year Says she served Seven Years
Apprenticeship with her Mother Cath: Catlin< no role > a Milliner and Clear
Starcher in Meads Court Old Bond Street in the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square in the County of Middlesex and after she was out
of her sd. Apprenticeship she never gained any or. Settlement And further
on her Oath says that on the 11th. day of June last she was delivered of
a Female Bastard Child in the Workhouse belonging to the Parish of
St. Clement Danes which hath since been baptized by the name of
Elizth< no role > . and is now Chargeable to the said Parish of St. Clement Danes
she being Poor & unable to maintain the same And further says that
one Mr.Loyd David Allen< no role > by Mistake called an Attorney who lately lived at No.1 New Inn is the father thereof
he having had Carnal knowledge of her Body at his the sd. Mr.Loyd David Allen< no role >
Chambers the 10th. day of Septr. 1782 at which time he got her with Child
of the female Bastard Child of which she was so delivered as afsd. And
that the said Mr.Loyd David Allen< no role > & no other Person did beget the same and that he
is the real & true father thereof.
