Sarah Creeve< no role > Aged about 24 Years on her Oath says she never
was married Rented House or paid Taxes or ever lived a hired
Yearly Servant for one Year says she was bound an Apprentice
by the Churchwardens & Overseers of St. Mary Le Bone in the
County of Middlesex to One Mr. Wadsworth a Sheriffs Officer
in Linisters Alley Bedford Bury in the Parish of St. Martin in the
fields in the Liberty of Westmr . & Served her said Master upwards
of Seven Years & after quitting her said Masters Service she never
gained any other Subsequent Settlement And further on her Oath
says that on the 9th. day of Decr. last she was delivered of a Male
Bastard Child in the House of One Mr. Smith in Bennetts Court
in the Parish of St. Clement Danes which hath since been Baptized
by the name of George< no role > & is likely to become Chargeable to the said
Parish of St. Clement Danes And further that one George Mitcham< no role >
a Runner at Mr. Justice Walkers in Hyde Street Bloomsbury in
the father thereof he having had Carnal Knowledge of her Body on
the 12th. day of March last was Twelve Months and at Sevl.
Different times afterwards at one of Which times he got her with
Child of the Male Bastard Child of which she was so delivered
as aforesaid And that the said George Mitcham< no role > & no other
person did beget the same & that he is the real & true Father
thereof
