Middlesex

to wit Ann Burford< no role > Aged about Twenty One Years
on her Oath Says she never was married Rented House or
paid Taxes Says she lived a hired Yearly Servant with Mr.
Nash at the Shirt Ware house in the Strand in the parish
of St. Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex upwards
of One Year at the Yearly Wages of five Pounds hath
quitted her said Service about Two Years ago and hath not
since she quitted the same ever lived a hired Yearly Servant
for One Year And further upon her Voluntary Oath says
she is pregnant with Child or Children which is or are
likely to be born Bastard or Bastards and to become
Chargable to said Parish she being Poor and unable to
Maintain the same when born And that one George Murray< no role >
a journeyman Carpenter (who lately worked near the
Middlesex Hospital but his Master's Name she does not
know not does she know at present what is become of him)
is the Father thereof he having had Carnal knowledge of
her Body at her late Master Mr. Vincents House near the
Middlesex Hospital some time in March last but the
particular Day she does not now remember and at One other
time afterwards at One of which times he got her with Child
of the Child or Children of which she is now pregnant And
and that the said George Murray< no role > & no other person did beget
the same and that he is the real and true Father thereof
