to wit John Daney< no role > Aged about Twenty Six Years
on his Oath Says he never was married Rented House
paid Taxes or lived a hired Yearly Servant for one
year otherwise than as herein after mentioned Says
he was bound an Apprentice to one Thomas Harris< no role >
a Chairmaker in Lambeth Marsh in the Parish
of St. Mary Lambeth in the County of Surry and served
his said Master under that Indenture for upwards
of Two years when his said Master went abroad and
this Examinant not going with him he went and
lived with one John Gifford< no role > a Baker in the aforesd.
Parish and lived with him for upwards of Twelve
Months at the Yearly Wages of Seven pounds
and upwards payable Weekly besides Diet and
Lodging and after quitting the sd last mentioned place
he never gained any or. Subsequent Settlement either
by Renting House paying Taxes or living a hired
yearly or Covenanted Servant for one year.
