to wit Elizabeth Spencer< no role > Aged about Twenty Three
Years on her Oath Says she never was married Rented
House paid Taxes or lived a hired Yearly Servant for One
Years Says she was bound and Apprentice by the Churchwd.
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Clement Danes
to one John Stacey< no role > a Shagereen Case Maker at Epping
Forrest in the Parish of Wanstead in the County of
Essex untill this Examinant shod. Attain her Age of
Twenty One Years or Day of Marriage as by the Indnes
relation being there [..] may appear Says that
her said Master afterwards went and Rented a House
at Statford in the said County of Essex when her said
Master soon afterwards run away and what is become of him she
Cannot Say; Says that soon after her said Master run
away her Mistress Rented and lived in a House in
Bethlem Green in the Parish of St. Mathew Bethlem
Green for upwards of One Year at the Yearly Rent of
Ten pounds and upwards and where this Examinant
Continued to live till her Indenture were Expired
and this Examinant further saith that she does not Knows
what is become of either her Master or Mistress but this
Examinant Positively Saith that she lived with her said
Mistress upwards of Eight Months before she left her
Mistress and that she hath gained no other subsequent
Settlement
