John Elger< no role > Aged about Fifty Years on his Oath says he
Intermarried with his late Wife Ann< no role > at the Fleet London
about Thirty Years ago by whom he has several Children who
are all now provided for, Says before his intermarriage with his
said Wife he lived as a hired Yearly Servant with one Mrs. Lythes
at the Hole in the Wall in Vere Street in the Parish of Saint
Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westminster for four Years
the first Year at the Yearly Wages of Three pounds, the second
Year at five, the third Year at seven, and the fourth Year
at Eight Pounds, when this Examinant left his said Service
and after quitting the same never Rented House or Tenement of Ten
Pounds a Year paid Taxes, or otherwise gained any other
Subsequent Settlement.
