to wit Susannah Chivers< no role > Aged about Seventeen Years on her
Oath says she never was Married Rented House Paid Taxes or ever served
any Apprenticeship Says the Grandfather of this Examinant lived and
Rented a House in Arrundel street in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the
County of Middlesex for several Years at the Yearly of Twenty Pounds
since which time this Examinant nor her Father ever gained any
Subsequent Settlement as her said Father, and Mother has often informed
her and which information she verity believes to be true and further
Upon her Voluntary Oath saith she is Pregnant with Child or Children
which is or are likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards and to
become Chargeable to the said Parish of Saint Clement Danes (she
being Poor and unable to Maintain the same when born,) And that
One Henry Rogers< no role > a Journeyman Taylor who now lives with his
father in Stanbury Court Pickadilly is the Father therefore
he having had Carnal Knowledge of her Body sometime the
latter end of May or the beginning of June but the Particular day
she does not now remember and at several different times afterwards
at one of which times he got her with Child of the Child or
Children of which she is now Pregnant and that the said Henry
Rogers
< no role > and no other Person did beget the same, and that he is
the real and true Father thereof.
