to wit Elizabeth German< no role > Aged about 25 Years on her
Oath Saith she never was Married rented house paid Taxes
or ever served any Apprenticeship whatever says she
lived a hired Yearly Servant with one Mrs Sarah Helder< no role >
Widow in Grainge Court in the Parish of Saint Clement
Danes in the Liberty of Westminster upwards of Three
Years at the Yearly Wages of Six Poundsa Yearand
has Quitted her said service upwards of Eighteen Months
and hath not since she quitted the same ever rented House
paid Taxes or lived a hired yearly Servant for one Year and
further upon her Voluntary Oath says she is pregnant with
Child or Children which is or are likely to be born a bastard
or bastards and to become Chargeable to the saidParish of Saint
Parish of Saint Clement Danes she being poor and unable to
mantain the same when born and that one James Deane< no role > a Porter to one
Mr Bradley a Mercer near Saint Margts Hill in the Borough
of Southwark in the County of Surrey had Carnal knowledge
of her Body sometime in the Month of March last but
the Particular Day she does not now remember in his said
Mastershouse and at several different times afterwards at
one of which times he got her with Child of the Child or
Children of which she is now pregnant as aforesaid and
the said James Deane< no role > and no other person did beget the
same and that he is the real and true father thereof
